Oat & Honey Facial Mask

As I've posted earlier on the greatness of oatmeal, this is another way you can benefit from it - by making your own Facial Mask.

Oatmeal can be use as a gentle cleansing agent and thus applying oatmeal mask on your face can actually draws out the impurities and some excess sebum gently.

Beside, it's cheap and easily available. I know there're some brand in the market that uses Oatmeal as one of the key ingredient in making their skincare and the famous one is Dermalogica Colloidal Facial Mask. It's good but the price is even better. So why not kill some time by making your own oat mask and it's 100% free from chemicals.

This is how i do it :

1. Get some colloidal oat. If you do not have colloidal out, get any rolled or flaked oat, grind it and that's it, you got your colloidal oat.

2. Mix it with 2 table spoon of honey.

3. The paste will be too thick to apply and this you can add a few drop of water, or better a few drop of green tea to make it easier to apply later.

4. Stir it to the consistency that you can apply it smoothly on your face, without dripping all over.

5. Let it stay for 15 minutes or until it dries up.

6. Dampen your mask with water and massage it in circular motion. This can exfoliate your dead skin gently to make your skin absorb the goodness of the ingredient better.

7. Rinse off and moisturize.

If you're wondering what're the benefit of oatmeal, you can take a look at my previous post that I've talked about it.

As for honey, it can soften your skin, absorb and retain moisture and it can also slow down ageing processes. Greentea is well known for it detox benefit and it's a good antioxidant, thus it actually helps to combat acne problem and and leave the skin feeling fresh and comfy.

Well it might be gross to apply oat on the face, and it can get a little messy when you're washing it off but care what for it's amazing benefit.

Try not to apply it too close to your hairline as it tend to stuck at the hair and hard to remove it off. Well after I wash it off, my face doesn't feel tight at all but feeling clean and fresh. I waited for 10 minutes to see if it gets tight but it doesn't. See how amazing it is.

So, wait not and start making your own mask now and pamper your skin!!

*The whole process will only take you roughly 30 minutes, from making it to washing it off*

So this it how it looks at the beginning... Smells good..

After 20 minutes, all dries up and the mask looks darker as there's some honey in the paste.

Voila! All done.. Please bear with my naked face(except for my eyebrow), I know it's horrible, the scars and acne.. T_T And I can't live without my Eyebrow pencil! =)

Hope you guys enjoy reading it and it's you've any tips or tricks, do comment to let me know..

Crop Studio Review (Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park)

Yay! My hair is red, Again!! Do you like it?

My hair actually looks redder in real. Wish not to scare you with that hawt red! Lol..

By the way, I hate this total transformation of blogging thingy. This new page is so darn hard to use. And i wonder why some part of the page was hidden when i open it with my Google Chrome so i gotta use Firefox to do it and i'm not a fan of this Mozilla thingy.

Ok let's not stray away from the topic. Yeah, review... on Crop Studio.

So this is how all this started. Khailing, a pretty friend of mine wish to redye her hair as it has faded to the point that she cannot accept it anymore. It's golden and looks like some sort of lala, those that you can normally see at Sungei Wang Plaza. *Sorry no offense but for me, Gold = Lala*

We bought a deal, need not to say from where, but it was quite tempting. RM78 for a hair color session at Crop Studio, Kuchai Lama.

We made an appointment earlier and the appointment was set at 2pm. We reached there at around 2.15pm, they greeted us with such a look that they do not welcome us.

The saloon looks totally dead, no music, and the environment was just, dead. No chatters no laughter, nothing. The hair stylists face were black.

They said "oh wait ar" in a very Cinapek style, without saying sorry or anything. (We made an appointment already!) The waiting time was like around 1hour, and they didnt say a word and we kept waiting like a fool, F-O-O-L!!

Both of us were so mad and we told them how long do they want us to wait anymore as we're in a hurry. So after 5 minutes, they it's our turn.

I dont think they have enough of hair stylist, and Khailing started first, while me, sitting on the chair and kept waiting and waiting. Really such a bad experience.

Oh yeah, the deal stated that they use either Loreal, Schwarkopf or Kerastase product but when they showed me the color catalogue, they have only Wella's color, which is not a favourite!

I finally chose a a red tone and I asked the stylist to mix it for me. Well, I kinda like the color, i'm a fans of redhead! =)

Talking about their skill, they're not good at communicating with customers, doesn't really understand what are we trying to ask or convey, and during the hair coloring process, it was so so so messy that the hair dye actually drip on my forehead and cheeks, and hand as well. The worst so far..

Well i wish not to blabber long but there are so many discontentment and things i would like to complain.

Take a look at their saloon.

They actually persuade us to have a treatment but, looking at their speed and time that I've left, I dont wish to continue anything else there although there's a 50% off on hair treatment services. Their treatment priced at RM138 for a session but they've this promotion which is buy 1 free 1. If you're interested you can have a try but, Khailing had their treatment and it's not very satisfying for her.

The deal actually comes with a free whole life time membership card from Crop Studio but we didnt bother to ask for it or to have it, as we will never step into this saloon anymore.

So just to sum up everything, it's bad!

Positive :
-Nice color mix for my hair
-The place is clean
-They have manicure service as well

Negative :
-Small area
-Bad customer service
-Long waiting time
-Hard to get car park around
-Only have Wella hair dye
-Lack of hair stylist
-They hardly open their mouth to talk as if there were gold in their mouth
-No music
-Didnt offer any drink, not even mineral or tap water
-It doesn't make you feel glamorous!

Overall rating :
2/10
